Connect your tools with MCP

Step by step

  1. 01

    Open the Integrations tab

Skills & Integrations, then Integrations. Under your mail and calendar providers sit the apps the assistant can work in: each is a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.

  2. 02

    Connect one in a click

Click Connect on Notion, Linear, Calendly or Cal.com. You sign in on the app’s side, allow Brainess, and you are sent straight back, connected as you.

  3. 03

    Decide what it may change

Manage lists every tool the assistant gets from that app. Reads run directly. Changes ask you first, unless you switch Ask before changes off. Deleting always asks.

  4. 04

    Add your own MCP server

Any app that gives you a remote MCP server URL fits: Add a server, a name, the URL, and an API key if the server gave you one. The assistant asks before using its tools.

  5. 05

    Then just ask

In the chat, ask for the result: “Save the Kestrel account plan to Notion”. The assistant picks the tool, runs it, and answers with the link.

What you get

  • Your work apps connected in one click, for you only
  • Control over what the assistant may change
  • Pages, issues and bookings from one sentence in the chat
